【IT168 资讯】上周伴随着GeForce GT 430的发布，NVIDIA发布了260.89版本驱动。不过可能由于时间仓促(10月8日打包，10月12日发布)，该驱动在发布伊始并未确定为正式版，而是以Beta测试版的形式推出。
本周一，NVIDIA终于宣布260.89版驱动完成微软硬件实验室认证测试，以WHQL官方正式版的形象重新发布。新的260.89 WHQL正式版驱动版本号为8.17.12.6089，但在内容上与上周的Beta版本基本相同。

260.89 WHQL正式版驱动支持GeForce 6、7、8、9、100、200、300、400以及桌面ION全系列GPU，具体更新内容包括：
新增GPU支持
增加针对新发布的GeForce GT 430 GPU的支持。
性能
与采用258.96 WHQL版驱动程序时相比，260.89版驱动在多款PC游戏中可提升GeForce GTX 400系列GPU的性能。

- 在《星际争霸2》中最高提升性能10% (2560x1600 4xAA/16xAF 优异设置)
- 在《S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat》中最高提升性能14%(1920x1200 4xAA/16xAF)
- 在《S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat》中最高提升性能16% (SLI - 2560x1600 4xAA/16xAF)
- 在《异形大战铁血战士》中最高提升性能6% (SLI – 1920x1200 无AA – 启用曲面细分)
GeForce GTX 460:
- 在《星际争霸2》中最高提升性能19% (SLI – 1920x1200 4xAA/16xAF 优异设置)
- 在《战地叛逆连队2》中最高提升性能15% (SLI – 2560x1600 4xAA/16xAF)
- 在《S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat》中最高提升性能12% (2560x1600 无AA)

SLI档案新增以下游戏支持：《City of Heroes: Going Rogue》、《Alien Swarm》、《Dead Rising 2》、《Front Mission Evolved》、《Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days》、《LEGO: Harry Potter》。
其他改进：
GeForce 400系列GPU增加OpenGL 4.1支持
